Mental health difficulties can have a significant impact on a learner's capacity to successfully complete their programme of study. This workshop will increase your understanding of the range of mental health needs that a learner may have, from stress related difficulties to diagnosed mental health conditions, and give you a greater understanding of strategies used to help them cope. It provide you with practical strategies to use in the classroom setting to enable you to effectively support learners who are experiencing mental health illness.
